Oh c'mon...

I have been noticing a recent spike in traffic to this site since Sunday. I have been looking at the analytic data. Yesterday the traffic came mostly from Facebook; and today I began seeing people looking at StoreCats.info from Google searches. The keywords they used to reach this site seem to indicate that a rumor is now out that Street Roots executive Israel Bayer is some kind of animal abuser.

To preemptively put this rumor out once and for all, StoreCats.info emphatically states here that Israel Bayer is NOT a Cat abuser.

Those who are looking for a gossip for cheap entertainment must put this all in perspective, and realize that it was a story with a happy ending, told here on StoreCats.info as a heart-warming tale of a Cat finding home in a local business.

The most important part of the story was that Israel took the Cat in. While it is unfortunate that he thought his initial abandonment of the Cat was somehow acceptable, after having seen the Cat shivering in the cold in front of his house, he decided to make the Cat the newes addition to the Street Roots family. This ultimately testifies to his character as a man of conscience.

So if you are looking for some silly scandal, you are in a wrong place. And unlike some politicians, Israel confessed out in front of hundreds of his Facebook friends. I personally feel that refreshing in this day and age.

The purpose of StoreCats.info is to promote felines in the business, retail and institutional environment, to provide pertinent information and resources, and also promote businesses and organizations that adopt a Cat by generating publicity and eventually building a comprehensive directory of Store Cats.
